Where Creativity Meets Consciousness

Römer Atelier is a colorful and joyful brand focused mainly on jewelry design, where color, curiosity, and creativity come to life through 3D Printing. Founded during the pandemic in 2021, it began as a personal response to the designer’s search for something different - something environmentally conscious, meaningful, and an artistic way to express herself in a chaotic world.

Each piece is hand-drawn, designed, and 3D-printed in Portugal by the founder using eco-friendly PLA bioplastic made from cornstarch, beet, and wheat (but no, you can’t snack on it). Over time, it’ll decompose - either in industrial composting or slowly in nature, doing its bit for the planet. Guided by the motto “From earth back to earth,” we believe in circularity - all scraps and failed prints are saved and recycled into new filament. Inspired by nature, the ocean, and brushstrokes, our jewelry celebrates your identity, growth, and freedom of expression in every color you love.

What makes us different

All pieces are made in-house using sustainable materials and digital tools. Ultra lightweight - bold in size, but gentle on your ears. Designed for joy - to spark confidence and encourage you to try new styles! Not mass-produced - each item is made in small batches, with room for surprise, variation, and unique color combos. You’re literally wearing a piece of my art!

About the Artist - Behind the scenes

Olá! I'm Angela - founder, designer and maker behind Römer Atelier. I’ve always been creative but struggled to find the right outlet for my ideas and self-expression. The artist’s pain - am I right? I started studying architecture in 2017. I wanted to quit in 2018, spent a summer in France dreaming of becoming a painter (how cliché), but I stuck with architecture and eventually realized it’s a world full of possibilities. I’m so glad I did.

In 2021, after the first year of my master’s degree and six months working in an architecture studio, I decided to explore 3D printing. My boyfriend had a printer, but let’s be real - the 3D printing world I knew back then was all grey gadgets and geeky toys. But I started sketching, curious about new ways to imagine jewelry through this technology. When I printed my very first earring design, I went crazy. I knew, in that moment, that this brand - whatever it would become - was going to change my life. Now, almost four years after that first experiment, I’m still learning and exploring - and finally launching this website. After countless markets in Lisbon, Copenhagen, and now Paris, I’m ready for the next chapter.

So - welcome to my world. Let’s have fun being bold, cool, and sustainable.

Thank you for being here 💛
